Our mission

SUNLINE Volleyball was founded on a simple belief: volleyball is more than a sport — it's where people find their community.

Our mission is to grow the sport of volleyball and the community around it in Central Florida. We build from the grassroots up — creating tournaments and experiences where players of every level can compete, improve, and belong. Volleyball gave us a place to push ourselves and find lifelong friends, and we're building SUNLINE so more people can find the same.

Who's behind it

Meet the founders

Three players who fell in love with volleyball.

Brady Lenox

Brady Lenox

Chief Executive Officer

My name is Brady, I began playing volleyball during my freshman year at Florida Polytechnic University and quickly developed a passion for the sport. After recognizing the need for more organized volleyball opportunities on campus, I helped build and Co-founded the Florida Poly Men's Volleyball Club Team from the ground up and later served as its president. In that role, I gained hands-on experience recruiting players, organizing practices, scheduling tournaments, managing team operations, securing funding, and representing the program both on campus and throughout Florida. I helped create Sunline to provide athletes with more opportunities to compete, connect, and showcase their talent across indoor, grass, and beach volleyball. My vision is to build Sunline Volleyball into a recognizable platform that represents the Volleyball community while helping the sport reach new players.

Chase Gilmore

Chase Gilmore

Chief of Operations

Hi I'm Chase, I was born and spent the first half of my life in Amador, California. I moved to Florida in 2019 for high school and to enjoy all Florida has to offer. I started playing volleyball during my freshman year of college in 2024 and absolutely fell in love with the sport. I co-founded and played on the Florida Polytechnic Men's club team. My dream is to play as much volleyball as possible and share the sport that has given me so much to others. In creating SLV, I want to grow the volleyball world and give everyone a chance to play.

Joshua Yang

Joshua Yang

Chief of Creation

My name is Josh yang I was born and raised in Clermont Florida. I grew up playing volleyball with my dad since the age of 8 and there on fell in love with the game. I did not get serious until my junior year of high school and hoped to play unfortunately where I lived there was few opportunities to play high school men's volleyball resorting to playing backyard with family and friends. Within the first few years of college, I had the opportunity to work and play with the Florida poly volleyball men's team and to experience competitive and casual play. With sun-line volleyball our goal is to grow volleyball by have people enjoy playing volleyball. Volleyball is a fun sport it can be competitive but it's a team building sport and with a team you have to rely on each others strength and weaknesses, my hope is to grow volleyball in the Florida communities so friends and families get to enjoy volleyball as we did and build a community for those who don't have one in order to play and grow as volleyball players.
